Gerald Isaac was born with Cerebral Palsy as a result of complications during his birth. Although confined to a wheelchair, with severe muscle spasms, Gerald found that he was able to control a brush held in his mouth and he had a go at using 'Painting by Numbers' kits. His success encouraged him to move on to original subjects and he submitted some paintings to the Mouth & Foot Painting Artists who accepted him as a Student Artist.

Gerald lives with his brother on the family farm in Devon, his surroundings being his inspiration to paint.
